Welcome to the enchanting Florentine Cafe, a delightful Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Boston's historic North End at 333 Hanover St. Renowned for its warm ambience and authentic cuisine, Florentine Cafe is a haven for Italian food lovers and a must-visit for anyone seeking a true taste of Italy.

The menu at Florentine Cafe celebrates rustic Italian flavors, featuring an array of dishes that tantalize the senses. Start your meal with the Antipasto, a beautifully arranged platter of assorted cheeses, Parma prosciutto, and soppresata, lovingly accompanied by roasted peppers and olives over a bed of arugula, all harmonized with a light vinaigrette—perfect for sharing or savoring solo at just $23. A crowd favorite, the Bruschetta, is a symphony of fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and aromatic basil atop traditional garlic bread, priced at a tempting $11.

For those who crave something heartier, indulge in the exquisite Lobster Ravioli, a standout dish devoured by many visitors, proving to be the star of the show with its generous filling of sweet lobster—often described as "packed with actual lobster" rather than just cream. Priced competitively and served with delightful sauces, this dish embodies elegance and satisfies even the most discerning palates. The Florentine Ribeye, at $80, is an inviting choice for meat lovers, promising an exceptional balance of tenderness and flavor, while seafood aficionados can delight in the Alaskan King Salmon ($32), crispy on the outside yet succulent within.

The atmosphere of Florentine Cafe is charming and intimate, enhanced by sunlight streaming through the windows and an inviting design adorned with draped flowers that create a warm and romantic setting. Seating is limited, making it an ideal spot for intimate dinners or celebrating special occasions. Be sure to secure a reservation, especially during bustling evenings—many patrons recommend this ahead of time to guarantee a delightful dining experience.

Service at Florentine Food has generally received positive feedback, with numerous customers highlighting the attentiveness and dedication of the staff. While a few guests noted minor service hiccups, the overwhelming consensus is that the exceptional quality of food and the genuine hospitality offered by the team elevate the entire dining experience. Everyone has a bad day sure, but Service was to be desired. Server was more intrested in twirling ticket spindle then touching tables. Would have easily sold us another round and desert if he just asked. Food was excellent! Compliments to the kitchen for sure! Rest of the staff seemed to be doing well so I wouldn't judge the location based on one subpar server. Again food was Excellent! Great bar selection, and the atmosphere was top notch!

Food was great!! Atmosphere was charming. Small little dinning area with windows to let in fresh air and sunlight(if you go early). I went on a Thursday evening around 5:30, was told only have 1 hour to eat since no reservations(highly recommend reservations). The hour was no issue, food was quick, service was okay. Wish that when our food came they brought over the shredded cheese. Waited for waiter to come and offer, never came, wasn’t overly crowded either. Ate my meal without it, not a huge deal, but for price point it would have been nice. That is the only reason I can’t give it five out of five. The pasta was great, the chicken was perfect, the Caesar salad was good, and the wine paired well. Overall, a positive experience, I would consider going back.

Beautiful space with window seating, perfect for a quick afternoon lunch. I ordered the meatballs and they were amazing. The staff was also fast and courteous. I've been here before and will always come again.

Very good atmosphere and food. We got a seat next to the window with no reservations on a Wednesday night. Waiter was very attentive and kept water full. We really enjoyed our meal. We tried the lobster ravioli and the chicken parm. Portions were large. Pasta was very fresh. Meatball appetizer was amazing!

The North End last night was lively, full of people and great energy. Florentine is at the heart of it all. Across from St Leonard's church on Hanover St, this lovely restaurant features some of the best and classics of Italian cuisine. All delicious! Great service - thank you Andre, and a fantastic and vibrant ambiance. Not a wallet killer either!!

Stunning, 10/10. Can’t decide where to eat? Come here and share a plate of Lobster ravioli. It’s the bomb! The burrata is amazing as well.

This café is absolutely unforgettable! The ambience is like stepping into a dream. Flowers draped across the windows, cozy seating, and the perfect atmosphere to sit back and enjoy a refreshing cool Breeze in August. We ordered the Tuscan Spritz and their lobster ravioli, and both were out of this world. The flavors were so fresh and memorable that we still talk about them to this day from our girls trip. Such a beautiful spot with incredible food and drink

Florentine Café in the North End has to be one of the best meals I’ve had in the area. The zucchini flowers are a must-try, but the real star is the ravioli aragosta 20/10. It’s packed with actual lobster and not just a cream based filling like others. Truly unforgettable
